Sweet Treats & Meet Ups

I have to admit that recently I haven’t been the best when it comes to communication. This year has been full of growth like no other and although I’ve been busy on social media to an extent I haven’t had as much time for meet ups as I would have liked. There are many who have understood and many who haven’t. But I’m slowly starting to get that work/life balance right as I’ve started to feel a little more stable in my journey.

CPH: A day on two wheels

So of course there was no way I was going to travel to one of the biking capitals of Europe and not ride a bike. That would be a wasted opportunity. I did a whole lot of research into where I could get a bike from prior to going. I’m just that kind of need to know gal. The results were fruitful but I had hopes of being savvy with my cash whilst out there. Option 1: I came across a company that rented bikes in a similar scheme to the Santander bikes in London, but as a designer and a creative the aesthetic of the bikes just didn’t appeal to me. So that was my first option ruled out. Option 2: Copenhagen free bikes. HYFR. Who’s going to turn down a free bike? Not this traveller. My eyes beamed as I read through the philosophy of the company started by University students reviewed on another CPH blog but on clicking through the link appeared to be dead. Therefore no free bike for me. Option …

A little time in CPH

It’s been just over a month since my first trip to Copenhagen and my second solo trip. Due to the nature of my work I have started to try and squeeze in trips away in between project gaps or days that I don’t have any meetings or dedicated work days – I personally think this is the best way to see Europe spontaneously without the extra hassle of finding out who’s free.

5 tips for having a good week

Well I should start off by wishing you a happy November – I really wanted to post this last Sunday but life has a habit of telling you what it would prefer to do at times! I like to see the start of a new month as another opportunity to reset and start afresh or in most cases keep working towards pre-set goals. But as months can sometimes last 4/5 weeks which can seem a lifetime when you are waiting for something to combat this I tend to break my refreshes/restarts into weekly cycles.
